Sermon Theme: Passover and Resurrection
Sermon Text: 1 Cor 5:6-8, Exodus 9: 22- 26, Ex 20: 17, Habakuk 2: 5-11
Thoughts are a reflection of our spiritual realm. When are thoughts are evil it invokes devils into our spiritual atmosphere. Our thoughts can be seen in the spiritual realm. Jesus saw the faith of the women with the issue of blood and He saw the faith of blind Bartimaeus. Doubt can be seen in the spiritual realm. Devils recognize doubt and unbelief and devils associate with that.
Ex 20: 17 “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” This scripture (Ex 20:17) is the key to freedom from unwholesome thoughts. When our desires are not right that is the beginning of unwholesome thoughts.
We must incline our thoughts to the word of God because that is how we will overcome. Aligning our thoughts with the word of God will enable us to develop wholesome thoughts or desires.
